AMW rotary mower shredders are used to shred vineyard canes after pruning. They are also used for grass cutting. The unit has an extra tall entry with the deck sloping down in the back. This allows incoming canes and grass to be further ground down. The rear discharge plate can be adjusted down to keep prunings in the shredding zone longer as well. All mowers have twin timed rotors with lower curved lifting blades and upper straight shredding blades. The solid sides have stationary anvils that the twin rotor blades pass thru for grinding. They can be traded out for special discharge sides. These are for growers who require the shredded prunings or grass to be discharged onto the berm.
