The Collard PCI-AVR Short Stack Prepruner offers 14″ of cutting zone for VSP trellis styles. This removes material and mulches the tendril connection to the top wires of the trellis. This can cave up to 45% of pruning time, as well as injuries related to pulling canes from top wires. The frame is built heavy with electric over hydraulic controls of height, width, and tilt. There is an optional magnetic opening system that opens the barrels around metal posts. The blade speed is controlled from the panel located in the tractor cab. The head is easily foldable in front of the tractor to offer better stability during road travel.
